About Olga

Olga was absolutely phenomenal in what she does. She made my dress look absolutely perfect and spent a lot of time with me, even being willing to answer questions I had after appointments via email. She was quick to respond to emails and quell any last minute bridal anxieties that I had. She was very professional and very kind. The buttons she added to the back of my dress were so beautiful. I found my calling in 1987 when I made my first bridal project from scratch –my own wedding dress. After that my girlfriends started getting married and asked me to make bridal gowns for them. Today, I am still doing the same thing and enjoy it more than anything else.

I am a one woman organically grown business in North Central Austin (near 183/290) and I work from my home studio. I do restyling and resizing of Bridal gowns and formal attire. I am incredibly lucky because I do what I love for work and I get to share the happiness and excitement of my brides.

My passion is vintage fashion and lace. I love restyling vintage bridal gowns and giving them new life with a new look. Lace has a very special place in my heart because it’s my favorite fabric and I use it a lot to customize existing designs and create my own. I also enjoy resizing, making dresses fit to show off the curves that make girls look irresistible and makes all alteration process fun and exciting.

​In my free time I enjoy dancing swing and lindy hop, drawing, sailing, traveling and taking fashion design and sewing classes in different parts of the world.

To request appointment please email me your name, the date when you need your dress to be ready and suggest a couple of day/time windows for your first fitting.
